NESS – Employment Preparation
The Newcomer Employment Success Strategies program (NESS) is sponsored by the government for newcomers over the age of 30 years.The clients have 16 weeks of full time employment training in class followed by 6 weeks of work placement. Class time includes essential skills, life skills computer classes and workplace language. Exposure courses such as first aid and CPR are available.Clients work on personal profiles and action plans to guide their futures.
